Associate General Counsel

Our search firm is working on an in-house assignment for a renewable energy developer that is seeking an attorney with three to twelve or more years of experience in handling real estate finance and transactional matters. Specific experience in one or more of the following is needed: real estate financing including debt issuance (senior and mezzanine); negotiating purchase and sale agreements; drafting operating and equity capital contribution agreements; drafting loan documents; reviewing title commitments and polices, survey and environmental reviews, and lien searches. Candidates with corporate finance/lending experience will also be considered. The work arrangement will initially be four days per week in the company’s office in Hartford County CT, with the possibility of greater flexibility down the road. The position title will be Associate General Counsel and will report to the company founders. Compensation will depend on experience with base salary in the range of two hundred and fifteen to two hundred and twenty thousand dollars, and a discretionary bonus of thirty-five thousand dollars +.
