Associate Manager

We are hiring for an Associate Manager Actuarial role for Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Vijayawada locations. Please find the below Key tasks and responsibilities for the same:

Role Summary

Work on pricing strategy and analytics for U.S. Personal Lines portfolios. Contribute to innovation of pricing methodologies, regulatory filings, and advanced analytics to ensure profitability and growth across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing Strategy & Rate Adequacy
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for multi-state personal lines portfolios
• Conduct rate reviews, class plan enhancements, and competitor benchmarking.
• Model Development & Advanced Analytics
• Build predictive pricing models using SQL, Python, R, SAS, BI, Snowflake, and actuarial tools (Emblem, Radar, Databricks).
• Modernize pricing data architecture and embed AI capabilities into workflows.
• Regulatory Filings
• Prepare actuarial support for state filings
• Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory standards.
• Cross-Functional collaboration and innovation
• Collaborate with underwriting, product, and claims teams.
• Ideate for adoption of new rating variables, coverages, and AI-driven pricing tools.

Required Skills

• Strong actuarial and statistical expertise.
• Minimum 2 papers pass from CAS/SOA/IFOA/IAI
• Proficiency in SQL/Python/R/SAS/BI and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• BTech or Bachelor’s/master’s in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• At least 4 years in P&C (pricing preferred) & proven experience in personal lines.

Note – Should have passport as may have to travel to US/Mexico for short/long term. Immediate joiners and/or joiners with short notice periods would be preferred.
