Associate Manager - Public Relations & Advocacy

JOB PURPOSE


This role will drive brand visibility, engagement and building by leading all PR, influencer, and advocacy efforts across the mainstream segment. The role focuses on building strong media relations, activating relevant influencer partnerships, and delivering impactful storytelling to enhance brand equity and support business growth.


Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration.


Experience:

  • 7-9 years of experience in public relations or media relations, Influencer marketing, Campaign development in beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer retail.
  • 0-2 years of managerial experience.
  • Prior agency or in-house brand experience (is a plus)


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Build and implement annual PR plans aligned with brand positioning and marketing calendar.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the press, editors, journalists, and key media outlets in the region.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer partnerships that drive reach, engagement, and credibility.
  • Support store openings, campaign launches, and brand moments with PR & influencer events.
  • Track earned media value (EMV), coverage, and influencer KPIs to measure impact and optimize efforts.
  • Work closely with marketing, digital, and retail teams to ensure consistent messaging and activation alignment.
  • Ensure all external communications reflect the brand tone of voice and strategic narrative.
