Associate Manager - Supply Chain

JOB PURPOSE

Leads and monitors the logistics (Importing & Exporting procedures) & Warehousing function along with its budget and setting KPIs. Also, will be involved in Store Opening plans and projects to ensure a coherent supply chain operations and procurement requirements. As well as assisting the team to operate efficiently to ensure the right item reaches the right customer at the right time, in addition to Product Registration

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Attention to detail
• Very Good understanding of government import regulations

Experience

• 7-9 years of experience in a similar role
• 0-2 years of experience in a managerial role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Warehouse Team Leader in creating Purchase Orders of Non-Trade items to avail all needs of the stores (Eye test unit, etc)
• Negotiate contracts to support all Supply Chain Functions
• Liaise between all departments to ensure any store opening needs are fully met such as warehouse and to settle discrepancies and payments to suppliers
• Motivate and lead the logistics & warehouse teams while monitoring their KPI’s and resolving issues
• Handle escalated issues with Suppliers & Product team in alignment with higher levels of work to properly resolve daily problems.
• Manage Fixed asset PO creation and ensure its right cost allocation
• Accountable for all logistics and warehousing budgets
• Responsible for registration of Contact Lenses while liaising with internal and external stakeholders (such as: Ministries of Health & Commerce).
