About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Photographer - Stylist to work in the Philadelphia Corporate office. The Associate Photographer - Stylist will be required to perform a dual role, whereby they will style and light products, as well as shoot imagery for placement in the catalog and on the web. This position requires both styling, shooting and retouching of product imagery, but not necessarily in consistent equal proportions.

Responsibilities

• Compose and style product sets.
• Photograph product using both natural and studio lights.
• Assist the Photographer(s) in shooting lifestyle and static product shots.
• Coordinate, organize, pack, transport and manage all merchandise being photographed.
• Drive company vehicle to off-site shooting locations as necessary.
• Photograph and edit products within the same day; create basic clipping paths, layer masks and retouch and color correct imagery.
• Create digital product renderings from a combination of product photos, product design production files and packaging production files using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines, color standards and quality expectations prior to final delivery.
• Assist in concepting, shooting, and editing short-form video content (e.g., reels, TikToks, product demos, behind-the-scenes content) aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
• Edit short-form video content for social media using industry-standard software, incorporating transitions, music, captions and motion graphics as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience producing both lifestyle and static product imagery, including lighting, composition, and post production.
• 2–4 years of experience in product photography and/or styling in a studio, in-house, or agency environment; experience within consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce preferred.
• Ability to calculate sizes and color values in CMYK for offset printing reproduction.
• Basic mathematics skills for calculating document, product and image specs.
• Ability to travel locally up to 20% of the time for off-site photo shoots required. Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong eye for styling, composition, lighting, and brand consistency required.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
