Associate Procurement Director

The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Market Research: Analyze market trends and identify qualified suppliers to support project needs.
Supplier Management: Evaluate, prequalify, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Contract Negotiation & Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts ensuring legal compliance and favorable terms.
Procurement Operations: Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and maintain accurate records and audit trails.
Risk Mitigation: Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead procurement teams and coordinate with stakeholders to align procurement with project schedules.

You’ll need to have:

Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing procurement for large-scale projects.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
