Associate Product Manager

As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll continuously re-prioritize and re-order the product backlog, based upon the most recent user or customer needs, market conditions, risks, cost of delay, and technical feasibility. This will ultimately allow you to ensure product sustainability and be successful in helping to define and meet customer outcomes and expectations to enhance their experience. In addition, we’ll look to you to collaborate and set expectations with product owners, stakeholders, customers, architects and any other stakeholders who have an interest in, or can provide feedback on the direction of the product.

You’ll also:

• Own & Drive the user experience on Android, iOS, and WEB for these verticals.
• Understand the user's needs (both spoken & tacit) and identify current gaps in the system.
• Ship products with Engineering and Design based on the Agile framework.
• Prioritize features and negotiate enablers in the program backlog using the weighted shortest job first technique
• Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the train and contribute to the platform vision and roadmap
• Work with multiple business owners to establish and prioritize features to progress the product vision, defining and validating the impact hypothesis of each
• Provide clear direction and encouragement to the delivery teams to get user or customer feedback early and often
• Work with the enterprise architects and the team to prioritize enablers to make sure that the product and its development is sustainable

Requirements:

• BTech. /BE/M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent and/or MBA
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in product management and technology experience. Previous programming experience is a double plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban metholdogies.
• Has the capability to drive projects to fruition; no matter how complex or ambiguous the environment is.
• Thrives in a cross-functional and fast-paced, startup environment. Is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty with minute details
• Sweats the small things - font types, alignment, UI, UX, etc - you get our drift.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on customer research, data, and industry trends.
• Stays on top of what is happening in the industry & molds the product to make it future-proof.
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferred B2B and B2C domain exposure.
• Fast learner on both technical side and business side
• Any Product Certifications is added advantage
• SaaS based model experience preferred
• Jewelry/Diamond Industry/domain experience preferred
