Production Engineer / Manager for AHU or HVAC equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.

• Lead the production team in assembling and manufacturing AHUs, including casing, coils, fans, filters, and control systems.

• Ensure production output meets quality standards and complies with technical specifications.

• Optimize plant operations for cost efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.

• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, and Logistics teams for smooth workflow.

• Monitor daily performance metrics: output, efficiency, downtime, rejection rates, etc.

• Manage and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and assembly line workers.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.).

• Maintain accurate production reports, inventory levels, and documentation.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize equipment breakdowns.

• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and training needs for the production team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• AHU or HVAC equipment production: 1 year (Preferred)
• AHU components and assembly processes: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
