Job Description – Delivery Lead / Program Manager (BFSI & Digital Transformation)
We are looking for a Delivery Lead / Program Manager with strong experience in end-to-end technology delivery and large-scale transformation programs within BFSI / Financial Services / Insurance domains. The role requires ownership of program execution, delivery governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership, ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex, multi-stream initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs spanning multiple workstreams (CTB / RTB).
- Drive program governance, delivery cadence, risk & issue management, and escalation frameworks.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, business, vendors) to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
- Act as the primary interface for senior business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee Agile / Hybrid / Waterfall delivery models, including SAFe / Scrum where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage vendor delivery, offshore/onshore models, capacity planning, and financial tracking.
- Support technology modernization initiatives including cloud migration, automation, DevOps, and platform upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, metrics, and team performance.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities such as RFPs, proposals, solution shaping, and transition planning (where required).
Required Experience & Skills
- 13+ years of overall experience with strong focus on delivery leadership / program management.
- Proven track record of managing large delivery teams (30+ members) and complex portfolios.
- Strong exposure to BFSI / Banking / Capital Markets / Insurance / Financial Services domains.
- Hands-on experience in Agile delivery, program governance, and stakeholder management.
- Good understanding of technology landscapes (custom applications, cloud, DevOps, data, integration platforms).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-level and senior leadership.
- Experience working in global delivery models with offshore and onshore teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with regulatory, compliance, or risk programs (domain-dependent).
- Exposure to KYC / AML / Client Onboarding / Compliance platforms (not mandatory).
- Certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, ITIL.
- Exposure to AI / automation-led delivery or digital transformation initiatives.
