Associate QA Engineer (Web, Mobile & Systems)

We are seeking a Associate QA Engineer with 4-6 months of hands-on experience in software testing to join our team at our Gulberg 3 office in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & UI/UX Testing

• Perform functional, usability, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile applications.
• Validate workflows, user interactions, and interface consistency.

End-to-End System Testing

• Test frontend and backend workflows end-to-end across modules and integrated systems.
• Verify data accuracy, system behavior, and business logic.

API Testing & Validation

• Conduct API testing including authentication, payload validation, and error-handling scenarios.
• Validate request/response behavior and integration consistency.

Performance & Load Testing Support

• Execute basic load and performance tests and assist in analyzing results.
• Report performance inconsistencies and potential bottlenecks.

Test Case Design & Regression Management

• Design, maintain, and update test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites.
• Support regression testing during release cycles.

Defect Tracking & Verification

• Identify, document, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
• Re-test fixed issues to ensure resolution.

Sprint & Release Collaboration

• Participate in sprint planning, testing cycles, and release validation activities.
• Support QA sign-off for deployments and production releases.

Cross-Team Coordination

• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality alignment.

Requirements

• 4-6 months of hands-on QA/testing experience.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile processes.
• Working knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman or similar).
• Understanding of backend logic, data validation, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions

• Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
• Office Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM
• Office Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays
• Salary: PKR 40,000 – 50,000 (based on real client project involvement, hands-on skills, and performance)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
