Quality Assurance Intern

Consecutive Bytes is seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Intern to join our Web Development team. This internship is focused entirely on manual testing of web applications, making it ideal for candidates who want to build strong fundamentals in software quality assurance before moving toward advanced QA roles.

You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to manually test features, identify issues, and help ensure high-quality web-based products.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications for functionality, usability, and UI/UX
• Test features across different browsers and screen sizes
• Identify, document, and clearly report bugs and inconsistencies
• Re-test fixes to confirm issue resolution
• Execute manual test cases and test scenarios
• Perform regression testing before releases
• Collaborate with the development team to improve overall product quality

Requirements

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of manual software testing concepts and QA fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to clearly describe bugs and testing steps
• Willingness to learn and follow testing processes

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.)
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile workflows
• Exposure to responsive and cross-browser testing
