Associate - Software Quality Assurance (QA)

We're on the lookout for a motivated QA Associate who can help ensure that the products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios
• Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira or similar
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (daily standups, planning, retrospectives)
• Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, and API testing
• Help maintain QA documentation and contribute to process improvements
• Perform exploratory and ad hoc testing as needed
• (If skilled) Support in automation testing initiatives and script writing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in manual QA testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
• Experience with bug tracking/test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail)
• Basic understanding of API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
• Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Must be available to work onsite in Karachi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
