Job Purpose

To ensure the quality standards, functionality, and safety of NFL's packaging materials are met to enhance product presentation, prolong shelf life, and enhance overall customer satisfaction

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis and testing of packaging materials, including films, cartons, labels, and closures, to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Assess the performance of packaging materials under various conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and pressure, to determine their suitability for product protection and preservation
• Evaluate the print quality, legibility, and visual appeal of packaging designs, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines and consumer expectations
• Ensure that packaging materials and designs adhere to relevant industry regulations, labelling requirements, and health and safety standards
• Perform shelf life studies to assess the impact of packaging on product freshness, taste, aroma, and overall quality over time
• Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and recommendations and generate detailed reports for documentation and decision-making
• Communicate test findings/reports to relevant stakeholders to inform decision-making and process improvements
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvement within the packaging domain, contributing to overall operational excellence
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with NFL’s goals and objectives
  
  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of experience
  
  

Or

• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 1-2 years of experience
