JOB TITLE: ASST. SERVICE MANAGER
REPORTING TO: SERVICE MANAGER
- Assisting the Service Manager in running a smooth, efficient and profitable operations of the Service Center to ensure customers satisfaction.
- You will assist in preparing the yearly budgets and sales forecast for spare parts and consumables.
- Re-ordering of spares and consumables, while ensuring healthy stock levels at all times.
- Ensure timely issuing and renewing of Maintenance Contract of all products and that all the machines are covered by maintenance contract.
- Strict compliance with all the company policies and procedures.
- Carry out other assignment as instructed, within the nature of your job, as and when required by the Management.
- Perform the jobs of repairing Ricoh photocopiers and facsimile machines.
- Maintain and service all the photocopiers/ fax machines which are covered under the yearly maintenance contract.
- Support customers on their requirements and installations of photocopiers.
- Provide estimate on repair jobs.
- Coordinate on the order of spare parts for Ricoh photocopiers and fax machines.
- Coordinate in obtaining the yearly maintenance contract for photocopiers and fax machines.
- Support the sales executive on the demonstration of the Ricoh photocopiers and machines.
- Support the customers on the requirements and installation of other brands of facsimile machines in future.
- Prepares and follow up quotation of spare parts, Customers or Third Parties (ie. Stationeries).
- Print, scan and save LPO's and approved quotations on the folder as provided for future reference.
- Assist for contract follow up on renewal of AMC's, Lease contracts, out of warranty machines and call basis 1-2 years.
- Prepare and summarize in excel sheet table the orders for spare parts, consumables and supplies.
- Responsible to place urgent orders of spare parts by air (Note: consolidate or combine urgent orders to minimize the shipping cost).
- Coordinate, inform and provide the summary data of items to be ordered to accounts before placing the orders.
- Provide the summary of consumables with the corresponding LPO's or quotations approval to order by an Accounts department responsible to place the order in the portal.
- Responsible for sea reordering of spare parts, consumables and supplies (Note: Check the Roadmap for Air-Sea Consignment for Consumables and PM Parts).
- Responsible to coordinate with RICOH on issues regarding technical and other matters as required.
- Assist on technical issues in the field and workshop.
- Work closely with the Service Department concerning department issues.
- Act as Assistant Technical Manager.
- To assist the Asst. Technical Manager for job scheduling and to update history cards, modification bulletins and field problem reports.
- To report immediately to the Asst. Technical Manager those clients using duplicate toners and consumables and also to monitor the technician's routine service report with proper counter reading.
- To train the Engineering staff about @remote and to monitor trade-in machines that enter in the Engineering department.
- To report to the service dept. any client's requirement for new machines and to update them of AZCS line of models.
31. Train on other tasks in AZCS as directed by management.
32. Perform other related tasks as assigned by your direct supervisor from time to time.
