. Cost Monitoring & Analysis
- Assist in tracking and recording daily food and beverage consumption.
- Verify and monitor store requisitions, transfers, and wastage reports.
- Compare actual costs vs. standard or budgeted costs and report variances.
- Support in conducting menu engineering and recipe costing analysis.
- Help maintain accurate costing data for all menu items and inventory.
2. Inventory Control
- Participate in monthly and surprise stock counts for all stores and outlets.
- Reconcile inventory records between store, kitchen, and accounting.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and cost procedures.
- Assist in verifying goods received notes (GRNs) and supplier invoices against purchase orders.
3. Reporting
- Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports.
- Support in generating cost of sales, consumption summaries, and variance reports.
- Provide data and analysis for management decision-making and budget preparation.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Store, Kitchen, and Accounts departments.
- Communicate cost-related findings and suggestions to the Cost Controller or Finance Manager.
- Ensure all cost data is accurate, up-to-date, and well-documented.
5. Compliance & Procedures
- Ensure all cost control activities follow company policies and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and cost control.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling cost data.
