Attorney

For 35 years, the Monahan Law Group has provided principled advocacy to our clients. Our litigation, policy drafting and legislative advocacy has helped shape new law. Our attorneys are considered thought leaders in their areas of practice.

We are hiring a principled attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience to represent our clients in guardianship, probate, and estate administration cases. This is a hybrid (3 days in-office) position. Salary will be based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Licenced Illinois attorney - provide ARDC #
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a litigating attorney in guardianship, probate, and estate administration or related files
• Demonstrated experience in court
• Excellent analytical skills, research, writing and communication skills
• Trial experience required
• Someone who has an interest in joining an established practice and helping to expand it

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client meetings
• Prepare all legal documents
• Appear in court as counsel
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills to meet all deadlines
• Adapt well to change & maintain a positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
