Attorney

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Criminal Law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Attorney will work collaboratively within a law office environment to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.

Duties

• Provide legal advice and representation in criminal court.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and other necessary paperwork.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings and administrative hearings.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the State of Florida.
• Proven experience in Criminal Law is preferred
• Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
• Familiarity with legal research tools like LexisNexis is essential.
• Previous experience in a law office setting is advantageous.
