A leading litigation firm is seeking an experienced Discovery Attorney to support active AI-related class action matters on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and can immediately contribute to discovery strategy and execution. This is an urgent-need, contract assignment with the potential for extension. The selected attorney will join a highly collaborative legal team at the forefront of cutting-edge litigation involving artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of discovery for complex litigation matters, including large-scale document reviews, productions, and privilege logs.
• Oversee vendor and review team workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance with discovery protocols.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and co-counsel on discovery strategy, case management, and deadlines.
• Draft and review discovery-related documents, including responses, objections, and meet-and-confer correspondence.
• Assist in preparing discovery materials for depositions, hearings, and trial.

Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of litigation experience with significant hands-on discovery management.
• Proven ability to organize and lead discovery processes in complex civil or class action litigation.
• Strong understanding of e-discovery platforms, data management, and production workflows.
• Excellent written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Active California Bar admission required.
• Ability to work remotely within California; Bay Area candidates preferred for occasional in-office meetings.
