Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Attorney to join our legal team, dedicated to providing expert legal counsel. The Attorney will primarily handle consumer collection matters while leading and managing a team of support staff in the state.

The Attorney will oversee cases from inception to completion, review pleadings, manage court appearances, and ensure high-quality case management.

This position is remote.

Key duties include:

- Direct court appearances and representation
- Oversight, review, and approval of pleadings and motions prepared by the team.
- Strategic case management and portfolio oversight.
- Training of support staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and firm standards.
- Close collaboration with other attorneys, staff, and firm leadership.

**Experience and Skills Required:**

- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to practice law in the State of California.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in collection litigation (consumer and/or commercial).
- Admission to practice law in additional states strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a heavy caseload for both themselves and their team.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
