We are seeking an Associate Attorney to handle all aspects of applicant workers' compensation litigation across Southern California. This is a great opportunity for a motivated attorney to manage cases from start to finish and gain valuable courtroom and deposition experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of applicant workers' compensation cases, including drafting petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Appear at hearings and trials throughout Southern California.
  • Take and defend depositions as part of the litigation process.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely resolution and meeting litigation deadlines.
  • Negotiate and settle cases for clients in accordance with their best interests.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and support staff to provide the highest level of legal services.

Qualifications:

  • California Bar Admission or awaiting bar results.
  • At least 1 year of experience in workers' compensation or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and handle all stages of workers' compensation litigation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple litigation tasks.
  • Exceptional oral communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment, maintaining attention to detail and client-focused service.

Nice to Have

  • Spanish language skills
