State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Legal Department is seeking a motivated litigator at the Attorney III or Attorney classification to join our exceptional team. At State Fund, we represent insured employers and various California State Agencies and handle challenging workers' compensation-related issues. As an Attorney III or Attorney with us, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by defending, litigating, and resolving workers’ compensation cases. You’ll be at the forefront of depositions, administrative hearings, and court appearances - ensuring justice is served to our clients.
Location:
State Fund is hiring an Attorney III / Attorney to appear at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board in Lodi (San Joaquin County), but may also be assigned to appear at any WCAB district office throughout California.
This position offers the flexibility of remote work. However, we are seeking a candidate who is preferably located in or near San Joaquin County. Reimbursement for local travel will be provided within the allowable mile radius.

Working Conditions

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.
