Join the firm as a Litigation Attorney (non-partnership track) in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for Florida-admitted lawyers eager to engage in meaningful work and grow their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with partners, lawyers, clients, staff, and third parties.
- Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
- Analyze complex legal issues logically, applying legal principles and research to specific facts.
- Provide timely, accurate, and well-reasoned work product.
- Be available as needed to ensure timely delivery of services, including evenings and weekends.
- Apply sustained and intense concentration for extended periods.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and satisfy clients and colleagues.
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods and participating in meetings.
- Travel as required for client meetings, advocacy, or business development.
- Foster relationships and anticipate clients’ needs for continued engagement.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff.
- Observe all firm policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Experience working on litigation matters in state and federal courts, including drafting pleadings and briefs, taking and defending depositions, addressing discovery disputes, and general litigation case management.
- Experience in healthcare and/or ERISA matters is desired.
- Previous state court or federal clerkship experience is a plus.
