Audit Assistant Manager - Assembly Plant

Karachi, Pakistan

We are looking to fill the available position of Assistant Manager Audit at our vehicle assembly Plant located at HUB- Karachi.

Job Role in ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance within the auto vehicle assembly plant. This position will focus on assessing and evaluating the plant's financial and operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The ideal candidate must have a proven experience of 4 to 5 years in the same capacity in any manufacturing / assembly concern.

Job Role Includes:

1. Risk Assessment:

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks in financial and operational processes.

- Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Audit Planning and Execution:

- Develop and execute audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting, and operational processes.

- Conduct audits of financial transactions, inventory management, production processes, and other key areas.

3. Financial Audit:

- Review financial statements, ledgers, and journals to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Verify financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

4. Operational Audit:

- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes, including production, quality control, and supply chain management.

- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend corrective actions.

5. Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

- Conduct regular audits to identify and address compliance gaps.

6. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

- Review and update SOPs to ensure they are relevant, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

- Ensure that SOPs are communicated to relevant personnel and implemented consistently.

7. Reporting and Recommendations:

- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.

- Present audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with Head Office cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and quality control.

- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant personnel and ensure implementation of corrective actions.

Education: M.com, MBA (Finance), ACCA Finalist, CA Inter

Skills Required:

Work as a team player with other colleagues.

Strong follow-up, Technology oriented, and a to do attitude.

MS. Word, MS. Excel and MS. Outlook.

Pick n Drop Facility:

Selected Applicant qualifying the job criteria ,and residing near Sirjani, Nazimabad, Korangi, and Buldia will be offered Pick n Drop facility from the nearest point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs110,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
