AUDITOR

The Inventory Auditor supports retail inventory accuracy by performing physical counts, Full Store counts and inventory reconciliations across all locations. This role helps ensure inventory records match physical stock, identifies discrepancies, and supports loss prevention and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Perform physical inventory counts on a rotation at all stores

Verify product quantities

Compare physical counts to back-office system

Document inventory discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or mislabels

Support investigations into shrink, damaged goods, or inventory errors

Accurately record count results and supporting documentation

Communicate findings to supervisors, store management, and inventory teams

Work Environment

Retail store, coolers, and outside

Standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required during counts

Travel to multiple store locations in the same day

Training & Development

On the job training provided for inventory counting procedures and systems

Required Qualifications

High school diploma

Interest in inventory control, or auditing

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to follow procedures and instructions consistently

Basic math skills and comfort working with numbers

Ability to stand, walk, and count inventory for extended periods

Willingness to travel between all stores

Reliable Transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Previous retail or inventory control experience

Experience participating in store inventory counts or audits

Attention to detail

Organization and time management

Integrity and reliability

Basic data entry and documentation skills

Communication with store staff and supervisors

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
