Auto Body Repair Technician

Auto Body Technician

Duties:

- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles according to dealership standards.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts and components.
- Use power tools and equipment to repair and restore damaged vehicles.
- Conduct auto estimating to determine the cost of repairs.
- Perform auto painting and refinishing to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Repair sheet metal and perform bodywork to fix dents, scratches, and other damages.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Solder and weld parts as needed for repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills:

- Previous experience in automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment for auto body repairs.
- Knowledge of auto estimating techniques to accurately assess repair costs.
- Experience in auto painting and refinishing techniques.
- Familiarity with sheet metal repair and bodywork processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Ability to solder and weld parts as needed for repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
