Spray-on Bedliner Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray-on Bedliner Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying durable, high-quality protective coatings to truck beds and other surfaces using spray-on bedliner technology. Your expertise will ensure each application meets safety standards, customer specifications, and quality expectations. Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of spray-on bedliner coatings
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment and other power tools safely and efficiently to apply protective coatings
• Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify surface dimensions and coating thicknesses
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Conduct quality inspections of finished applications, ensuring uniform coverage and adherence to specifications
• Assist in materials handling, including loading raw materials and managing inventory of supplies
• Support fabrication and assembly tasks as needed within the manufacturing process
• Utilize welding, auto body repair techniques, or machining skills when necessary for surface preparation or repairs

Skills

• Proficiency with airless paint spraying equipment, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
• Mechanical knowledge related to automotive or industrial painting processes
• Experience with materials handling, fabrication, and assembly in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with forklift operation, crane use, and warehouse procedures for efficient material movement
• Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and auto painting processes
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers or gauges for quality control
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during application processes
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
• Experience with construction or industrial painting techniques is a plus
