Auto Finance Accountant

Moto X Pricambi is seeking a detail-oriented and financially skilled Auto Finance Accountant to join our team in Al Khor. This role is responsible for managing financial transactions related to automotive sales, financing, and inventory, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and compliance across all auto finance operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise with experience in automotive, retail finance, or asset-based financing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and record all auto finance transactions, including vehicle sales, financing agreements, and customer payments
• Track loan schedules, interest accruals, and repayment structures for financed vehicles
• Reconcile auto inventory accounts, ensuring accurate valuation of stock and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Prepare monthly financial reports related to automotive sales, financing performance, and profitability
• Monitor outstanding receivables, installment plans, and customer payment collections
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of financing deals
• Analyze financial performance of auto financing portfolios and identify risk or revenue opportunities
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and applicable financial regulations
• Support budgeting and forecasting for automotive sales and financing operations
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in automotive finance, banking, or retail financing
• Strong understanding of installment financing, loan structures, and receivables management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Good communication skills for coordination with sales and finance teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automotive dealerships or vehicle financing companies
• Knowledge of asset financing, credit control, and customer loan management
• Familiarity with IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are an advantage
