Autocad Designer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our road construction team in the UAE. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior draftsmen who are eager to build a career in the infrastructure and civil engineering sector. The successful candidate will assist in preparing 2D drawings for road works, utilities, and infrastructure layouts under the supervision of senior engineers and draftsmen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing AutoCAD drawings for road layouts, cross-sections, alignments, traffic signs, utilities, and drainage systems.
• Support senior engineers and draftsmen in developing shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Make revisions to drawings based on engineer or site feedback.
• Learn and apply UAE road design standards and drafting guidelines (RTA, DoT, ADM, etc.).
• Maintain drawing files and document control for ongoing and completed projects.
• Collaborate with design and site teams to ensure drawings are up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and assist in preparing documents for authority approvals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is required.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of basic civil engineering concepts, especially related to roads and infrastructure.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Must be available in the UAE and ready to join on short notice.
