AutoCAD Designer - Fire Sprinkler Systems

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our team in Roseville, CA. This is a long-term career opportunity focused on design and project management for automatic fire sprinkler systemsin commercial tenant improvement and new construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of fire sprinkler system design. You will collaborate closely with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure each project meets quality, safety, and code compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design automatic fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD for commercial projects
• Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and other trades to gather design requirements
• Create detailed plans, layouts, and material lists for installation
• Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure system efficiency and compliance
• Prepare and maintain submittals, permits, and project documentation
• Support internal teams with accurate project handoffs and updates

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial fire sprinkler designer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
• Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Experience:

• Background in new construction or tenant improvementprojects
