AUTOCAD Draftsman

Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of other CAD software is an advantage.
• 2 years of relevant drafting experience (industry-specific preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings and specifications.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and detailed designs based on project requirements and engineer/architect instructions.
• Review and update drawings as per design changes, client feedback, or site conditions.
• Maintain drawing records, documentation, and version control.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company guidelines.
• Convert sketches, verbal instructions, and conceptual designs into technical drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings for completed projects.
• Support project teams with drawing-related queries and revisions.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants when necessary.
