We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman and Site Coordinator - Marble Specialist to lead and manage marble, granite, and tile installation works across high-end projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution from planning to completion, ensuring quality, technical compliance, and timely delivery while coordinating closely with consultants, architects, site teams, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

1. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and site teams to ensure compliance with design intent and technical specifications.

2. Supervise on-site execution of marble, granite, and tile works, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and safety standards.

3. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues related to material defects, installation discrepancies, or technical challenges.

4. Monitor project progress and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

5. Attend and contribute to project coordination and client meetings.

*Technical Drawings, Measurement & Planning*

1. Perform detailed site measurements to verify dimensions and ensure accurate execution of marble and tile works.

2. Prepare and develop technical drawings, layout drawings, and detailed installation drawings based on site conditions and design requirements.

3. Superimpose marble slabs on drawings to demonstrate accurate layout, vein matching, and final visual appearance of finished surfaces.

4. Interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings to ensure precise execution.

5. Prepare method statements, technical submittals, and shop drawings as required.

Procurement & Resource Management

1. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and installation.

2. Support procurement in identifying suitable materials, finishes, and vendors for stone, granite and quartz.

Commercial & Estimation

1. Extract quantities from drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

2. Perform pricing and cost estimation based on material specifications and project requirements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

1. Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, client specifications, and project documentation requirements.

2. Maintain adherence to HSE policies and quality control procedures throughout project execution.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

2. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in marble and tile works, preferably in high-end residential or commercial projects within the GCC.

3. Strong knowledge of various types of marble, granite, quartz and porcelain, including installation techniques and finishes.

4. Proven ability to take accurate site measurements and produce detailed technical drawings.

5. Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.

6. Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, pricing, and estimation.

7. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

8. Familiarity with quality control procedures, HSE standards, and project documentation.

9. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.

10. UAE valid driving license is must.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous experience working with high-end finishing contractors or marble suppliers.

2. Knowledge of waterproofing systems and substrate preparation for marble and granite installations.
