Key Responsibilities

As our Draftsman, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into the necessary technical documents for production and installation. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Creating highly accurate shop drawings and fabrication drawings from architectural plans and specifications.
• Developing detailed plans, sections, and elevations for custom glass and metal components.
• Generating precise Bill of Materials (BOM) and cutting lists for the production and procurement teams.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, estimators, and fabricators to ensure designs are efficient and manufacturable.
• Revising and updating drawings promptly based on design changes, field measurements, and engineering feedback.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, specifically within the architectural, construction, or glazing industries.
• Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD (2D). (3D modeling skills are a plus).
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience detailing glass, aluminum, and steel systems is highly preferred.

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
