Immediate hiring for the AUTO CAD DRAUGHTSMAN with TEKLA SKILLS is advantage and is required.

Steel Structural Draughtsman creates detailed technical drawings and blueprints for buildings, bridges, and other structures, translating engineers' and architects' designs into precise plans using CAD software and TEKLA, ensuring compliance with codes, and collaborating with project teams for accurate construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting: Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using CAD software and TEKLA (like AutoCAD).
• Collaboration: Work closely with structural engineers and architects to refine designs and incorporate changes.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings meet building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Documentation: Prepare, manage, and update project files, including permit applications and revision records.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on documents and verify accuracy against standards.
• Coordination: Liaise with contractors and construction teams to clarify design details.
• Technical Support: Calculate material needs, assist with estimates, and help prepare project documentation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software and TEKLA (e.g., AutoCAD & TEKLA).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Often requires an Civil Engineers degree or relevant certification in drafting/technology.
