AutoCAD Mechanical Draftsman

AutoCAD Mechanical Draftsman -Specialized in Steel Structures, Tanks & Piping Design

Location: Riyadh

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Mechanical Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in creating 2D/3D drawings and fabrication details for steel structures, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate mechanical drawings, layouts, and fabrication details using AutoCAD
• (and related 3D tools if required).
• Develop general arrangement drawings, P&IDs, isometric piping layouts, and support details.
• Convert design concepts and engineering calculations into detailed shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and compliance with relevant codes/standards (e.g., ASME, API).

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven drafting experience in steel structures, tanks, and piping.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of other CAD platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication and erection practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under deadlines.
