AutoCAD Operator

Point to Point Metal Industries is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Operator to support our metal fabrication and signage projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings in coordination with project engineers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD 2D drawings for:
• Bollards, safety barriers, sign structures
• Metal fabrication items (SS, MS, Aluminum)
• Base plates, anchor bolts, concrete foundations
• Develop shop drawings, GA drawings, and as-built drawings
• Modify drawings based on client / consultant comments
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, and site teams
• Ensure drawings comply with ADM / DMT / client specifications
• Maintain drawing records and revision controls
• Support material take-off (MTO) when required.
• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Drafting or Civil / Mechanical field
• 2–5 years UAE experience preferred (metal fabrication / signage)
• Strong command of AutoCAD (2D mandatory)
• Structural steel & metal fabrication drawings
• Concrete foundation detailing
• Dimensions, tolerances, welding symbols
• Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under tight project deadlines
• Experience in bollards, manholes, safety barriers, and signage
• Familiar with SS304 / SS316 / MS / Aluminum sections
• Basic knowledge of site installation requirements
• Experience with ADM / ADQCC / consultant submissions
