Job Title: Automatic Die Cut Operator – Roll to Sheet

Job Summary:

The Automatic Die Cut Operator – Roll to Sheet is responsible for operating roll-fed automatic die-cutting machines that convert printed or plain paper rolls into accurately die-cut sheets or finished components. The role ensures precise cutting, high production efficiency, minimal wastage, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automatic roll-to-sheet die-cutting machines according to job specifications.
• Load paper rolls and ensure proper web alignment and tension control.
• Install and align cutting dies, magnetic cylinders, and stripping systems.
• Adjust cutting pressure, registration, speed, and sheet length settings.
• Monitor web feeding, cutting accuracy, and sheet stacking systems.
• Inspect finished sheets for defects such as misregistration, uneven cutting, burrs, or incomplete cuts.
• Control material wastage and optimize machine performance.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or feeding issues and coordinate with maintenance for major problems.
• Maintain daily production reports including output, rejection rate, and downtime.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of rolls and cutting tools.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in roll-fed die-cutting machine operation (printing/packaging industry).
• Experience in paper packaging products such as paper cups, lids, cartons, food packaging materials, or similar.
• Knowledge of web tension control, die alignment, and cutting pressure adjustment.
• Ability to read production orders and technical specifications.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit to handle heavy paper rolls and stand for extended periods.
