Cutting and Bending Machine Operator

• Key Responsibilities:

Operate cutting machines (shearing, laser, plasma, or CNC cutting) as per job requirements
Operate bending machines (press brake) to achieve accurate angles and dimensions
Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and measurements
Set up machines, including tooling, alignment, and calibration before operation
Perform basic programming or adjustments (for CNC machines, if applicable)

• Ensure precision and quality of finished products within tolerance limits
• Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or deviations

Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines

• Coordinate with production, design, and supervisors to meet deadlines
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during operations
• Report machine issues, breakdowns, or material defects to the supervisor

Follow health, safety, and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in metal or stainless-steel fabrication
• Hands-on experience in cutting and bending machines (press brake, shearing, laser/plasma preferred)
• Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings
• Knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and bending allowances
• Basic understanding of machine settings and tooling selection
• Familiarity with quality standards and tolerances
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,400.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
