Job Summary:

The Automatic Die Cut Operator – Sheet to Sheet is responsible for setting up and operating sheet-fed automatic die-cutting machines to process printed or plain sheets into finished die-cut components. The operator ensures precise cutting, proper registration, high productivity, and consistent product quality in accordance with production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sheet-fed automatic die-cutting machines according to job specifications.
• Load printed or plain sheets into the feeder system and ensure smooth feeding.
• Install and align cutting dies, chase frames, stripping units, and blanking systems.
• Adjust cutting pressure, speed, and registration to achieve accurate cutting and creasing.
• Monitor sheet alignment, feeding performance, and delivery stacking.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as misregistration, incomplete cuts, cracking, or damage.
• Ensure proper stripping and separation of waste materials.
• Minimize wastage and maintain optimal machine efficiency.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues and coordinate with maintenance team when necessary.
• Record daily production output, wastage, and downtime.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience operating sheet-fed automatic die-cutting machines in printing or packaging industry.
• Experience in paper cartons, paper bags, food packaging, or similar products is an advantage.
• Knowledge of die setting, pressure adjustment, and sheet registration control.
• Ability to read job orders and technical specifications.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling paper stacks.
