Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and program automated control systems using PLC, SCADA, and other control platforms.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve process efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Test, commission, and maintain automation systems to ensure reliable and safe operation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automation with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and update control software as needed.
• Train operations and maintenance teams on automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide regular progress and performance reports to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in programming PLC and SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of automation programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, etc.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Kuwait Driving License preferred.
• Transferable residency (Article 18) is preferable.
