Instrument and Control Engineer (I&C)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems across projects.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper integration of control systems with mechanical and electrical works.
• Review and approve instrumentation and control drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and project requirements.
• Supervise installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of control equipment.
• Lead the I&C team and coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless project delivery.
• Report to Project Manager/Director and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Proven track record as Instrument and Control Engineer in major industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, field instrumentation, and control panel design.
• Familiar with local standards and international codes (IEC, ISA, NFPA, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Kuwait Driving License preferred.
• Transferable residency (Article 18) is preferable.
