Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Pytest).
• Experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., Selenium, BDD cucumber etc..)
• Design, implement, and execute automated tests for functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira), working closely with developers for resolution.
• Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and provide insights into software quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks, processes, and tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.

Must Have Skill

• Experience in End-to-End testing (Ui-API-DB), Performance Testing, Load/Stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and summary reports.
• Azure DevOps Testing (Test Plans) experience is a plus.
• Hands on experience in version management tools such as GIT.
• Understanding of SQL and able to write complex database queries.
• Hand on in test management tools like JIRA,Testrail
• In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management.

Nice to Have Skill

• Exposure to Azure cloud
• Expert knowledge of Effort Estimation and Scheduling, Scope definition.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex data structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
