Role Overview

Phaedra Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy AI-Augmented Quality Assurance Engineer. This role is ideal for QA professionals with a strong foundation in standard testing protocols who are passionate about leveraging AI to boost accuracy and operational speed. You will take full ownership of the quality lifecycle, utilizing automation and generative AI as catalysts to strengthen product reliability and optimize testing workflows.

Core Responsibilities (KPIs)

Comprehensive Quality Management

• Analyze product requirements and user flows to architect robust, high-coverage testing strategies.
• Design and execute diverse test suites, including functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Proactively identify high-risk areas and edge cases to maintain superior product standards.
• Document software vulnerabilities with high precision, offering detailed reproduction steps and severity analysis.
• Lead technical check-ins with clients to report on quality benchmarks and overall project stability.

AI-Driven Optimization

• Embed generative AI platforms into the testing lifecycle to accelerate the creation of test cases and scenarios.
• Deploy AI for intelligent log analysis, root cause identification (RCA), and automated script generation.
• Utilize advanced tools for the automated synthesis of release notes and complex defect analysis.
• Stay at the forefront of QA innovation by researching and adopting emerging AI-enhanced testing methodologies.

Automation & Technical Execution

• Develop and scale automated test suites using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Execute API-level testing and automation using Postman, Newman, or AI-guided scripting.
• Identify and convert repetitive manual processes into automated workflows to increase team velocity.
• Supervise testing pipelines and version control within modern CI/CD environments.

Strategic Collaboration

• Work alongside developers and product managers to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of the sprint.
• Provide transparent communication regarding technical roadblocks and potential project risks.
• Contribute actively to Agile rituals, including grooming, planning, and retrospective sessions.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technical equivalent.
• Professional Experience: 1 to 2 years in a dedicated QA role covering both manual and automated domains.
• AI Familiarity: Practical experience or a strong interest in integrating AI tools into testing workflows.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency in automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium) and languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• QA Logic: Solid grasp of the bug lifecycle, risk-based testing, and modern test design patterns.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and writing skills for client-facing reporting and internal documentation.
