Automation Test Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Lead with over 10 years of hands-on experience in test automation, quality engineering, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable automation frameworks, mentoring teams, and driving innovation in testing practices across global projects.

Your Role

• Design & Implement Automation Strategies: Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and SHAFT.
• Lead Global Teams: Manage and mentor cross-functional and cross-border teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Drive Quality Engineering: Establish and enforce best practices in test automation, CI/CD integration, and agile testing methodologies.
• Innovate & Optimize: Evaluate emerging technologies, solve complex testing challenges, and continuously improve automation processes.
• Consult & Coach: Provide technical coaching to teams, support SAFe/Agile transformations, and lead internal training initiatives.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to align automation efforts with business goals.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years’ experience in test automation, with proven leadership in designing and managing automation frameworks.

• Technical Expertise:
• Programming: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#
• Tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, SHAFT, REST Assured, Appium
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Bamboo
Test Management: JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail

• Methodologies: Agile (SCRUM, SAFe), DevOps, SDLC
• Fluency in English. German is a preferred.
