Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our workshop team. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently in a busy workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in vehicles.
• Carry out routine service and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Repair and replace engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, steering systems, clutches, cooling systems, and other vehicle components.
• Diagnose faults using manual inspection and diagnostic tools.
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, brake service, tire checks, and general maintenance work.
• Support breakdown and emergency repair requirements when needed.
• Ensure all vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance work completed.
• Coordinate with supervisors, service advisors, electricians, and parts teams for smooth workflow.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy before release.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automobile Mechanic.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Experience working on light vehicles, SUVs, pickups, and commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of petrol and diesel engines, transmission systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and cooling systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults independently.
• Knowledge of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Technical certification or diploma in automobile/mechanical engineering is an advantage.

Pay: QAR1,650.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
