Automotive Electrical Specialist

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in automotive systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and calibration tools.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on low voltage and high voltage electrical components, sensors, and distributed control systems to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Install, calibrate, and configure programmable electrical components, vision inspection systems, sensors, and other automation equipment to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, calibrations, and system modifications while adhering to safety standards and quality protocols.
• Maintaining a clean and hazardous free work space.
• Preform regular/routine maintenance to all years, makes, and models.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, sensors, calibration techniques, and precision diagnostic tools used daily on vehicles preferred.
• Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to support repairing vehicle in a timely fashion.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly office personal and customers.
• Up to date Safety and Emissions inspection license preferred.
