PDI and Accessory Technician/ Automotive Accessory Mechanic

Job Description

Reports To: Service Manager

Schedule: Full-time/M-Fri/ 7AM-6PM

Essential Functions:

Inspection of newly delivered vehicles
Checking to ensure all fluid levels are correct and accurate levels
Look over vehicles for damage and fluid leaks
Checking tire pressures and performing battery tests
Remove protective plastics from the interior of new vehicles
Install all required stickers and plates on vehicles
Install OEM accessories per window sticker of vehicle
Install OEM accessories that were purchased during the sale of the vehicle
Remains fully compliant with Company HR training
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

High School diploma/GED required
ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
One year in service department (preferred)
Willingness to participate in in-house training
Ability to operate all auto repair tools
Some knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
