What you’ll do

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and alignment checks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for customer transparency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.

Preferred qualifications

• Dealership experience with a focus on GM vehicles.
• Proficiency in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair.
• Experience with air brake systems, schematics interpretation, powertrain components, alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts, brake repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating.
