Automotive Parts Manager

AUTOMOTIVE FRANCHISE PARTS MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department and ensure the efficient procurement and management of automotive parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, supplier relations, and customer service. This role is crucial in maintaining optimal stock levels, managing supplier contracts, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service. 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of automotive parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing from OEM suppliers.
• Oversee inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
• Coordinate warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of parts.
• Develop and implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs based on sales trends and customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts availability and orders.
• Monitor performance metrics related to inventory turnover, order accuracy, and supplier performance.
• Train and mentor staff within the parts department to enhance their skills in customer service and inventory management systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement management within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with OEM parts sourcing and supplier management techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Ability to analyze data for demand planning and inventory forecasting.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, suppliers, and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
