**Job Title:** Automotive Technician (Entry Level & Experienced)

**Location:** Bertera Chevrolet Palmer,MA.

**Salary Range:** $20.00 - $60.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

**Job Overview:**
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. You will work on everything from routine maintenance to more complex repairs. This role requires a strong attention to detail, great problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using advanced testing equipment and tools.
Read and interpret technical service manuals and specifications.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
Keep work area clean and organized, following all safety procedures.
Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques.
Collaborate with other technicians and staff as needed.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

**Qualifications:**

*Entry-Level Candidates:*

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in automotive technology preferred.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Some hands-on experience through internships or personal projects is a plus.
Strong willingness to learn and grow within the field.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

*Experienced Candidates:*

Completion of a formal training program in automotive technology or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
ASE certification is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
