Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and future-ready cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on AWS expertise, strong automation skills, and the ability to influence cloud strategy and governance across teams.
Job Description
- Design and manage AWS Landing Zones using Control Tower, Organizations, and SCPs.
- Define multi-account strategies, governance, and security baselines.
- Architect scalable network topologies (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Direct Connect).
- Lead migration and modernization of workloads, including containerized and serverless solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Enforce security and compliance using IAM, GuardDuty, Config, and CloudTrail.
- Establish monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or APM tools.
- Conduct architecture reviews and mentor cloud engineering teams.
- Stay updated on AWS innovations and evangelize best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Cloud Architecture, with 5+ years hands-on in AWS.
- Proven experience building and managing AWS Landing Zones.
- Strong knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Expertise in infrastructure automation and DevOps tooling.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity and cloud security hardening.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to AWS analytics services (Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation).
- Knowledge of cost optimization / FinOps practices.
